OUR SURRENDER PROCESS
Pack Leaders Rescue of Connecticut, Inc. operates on a by-appointment-only surrender schedule. The rescue is operated by volunteers and fosters. If you are looking to surrender your dog, you must be the owner. If you found a stray animal, contact your local animal control as we can’t take in strays.
ANIMALS ORIGINALLY FROM OUR RESCUE
If you adopted from our rescue and would like to know your options prior to surrendering, such as a training session with our lead behaviorist, please email PackLeadersRescueCT@gmail.com.Â
ANIMALS FROM OTHER SHELTERS OR RESCUES
If you did not adopt from us, we will determine if your animal is a good fit for our rescue, up to date on vaccines, fixed, and if we have an available foster home.Â
Fill out the form below in its entirety. We do not take animals that are aggressive or that have a contagious illness as we can’t put our volunteers or other animals we care for in danger. Once you receive a copy of the submitted form to your inbox, please reply with the vet records showing proof of vaccines, recent heartworm negative test, and recent photos. We will reply to your request within 72 hours.Â
By filling out this form, I state that I am the owner of the animal who is the subject of this Animal Surrender Form. To my knowledge, no other person has any right to this animal and will not be available to be returned.Â
